Handcrafted Oilwell Jewelry Earrings Post

These earrings are from an oil well drilled in West Texas in Hockley County. They drilled into the Clear Fork formation - top of formation around 4,900 feet in search for oil and gas. A special drill bit with a hollow center was used, adding 10ths of thousands of dollars to the cost of the well.
